With an expressive and spontaneous approach, Niels-Kristian Bach creates landscapes in a tension between nature and the mental plane from the abstract to the figurative. He uses his experiences, feelings, and moods as he is completely present when he works - as if he is one with the work. Niels-Kristian sometimes creates visual connections between new and old pieces and likes to work on several works simultaneously and in series.
He is interested in nuances. His art must be open, so it is available for interpretation for whoever encounters it. The art, therefore, have no titles as it will delineate the experience of others. Putting these words on his practice is possibly a paradox as the words might restrict my art experience. He creates many tracks and styles that weave in and out of each other - they belong together.
