Aslak is a danish artist who currently lives in Hamburg. Aslak's work centers around the intersection between body and object. It deals with the objectification of bodies and spaces and the corporealization of objects and materials. His work explores what the body can become and how it can be transformed physically and conceptually. Working primarily with textiles and soft objects, his work explores materiality and how textiles are imbued with meaning because of how our bodies inhabit and use them both in life and ritual.
