Ada Tung (b. 1995) is based in Hong Kong, where she was born and raised. In 2018, Tung graduated in Fine Art from Loughborough University, U.K. after studying there and at the University of Zaragoza, Spain.
Drawings and paintings are Tung’s focus, and she is inspired by the moods of everyday life, offering an interpretation of subtle interactions between people and objects. Tung uses both traditional and new art materials, sometimes combining them. Where she is comfortable with oil paints and watercolours, Tung has experimented with pastels on dried wall filler, and she has also given life back to food by using paints made from colour pigments sourced from vegetables on paper.
Her works are held in private collections in Hong Kong and the U.K.
